The Arlington Independent School District’s Fifth Grade Art Tours at AT&T Stadium began in 2015 and continues to impact students in a positive way to this day. Over 13,500 students have toured the world renowned art collection at AT&T Stadium since the program’s inception, with 4,500 more students expected for the 2018-19 school year. This program has introduced fifth grade students to the visual arts in this unique venue that combines the arts with sport at a crucial moment when they are deciding whether they will pursue art courses in junior high and high school.
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
COWBOYS DRAFT WAR ROOM Helmet -This helmet is a unique, one-of-a-kind work of art autographed by NFL Draft Community Ambassador DeMarcus Ware. The artwork was done by Paige Nail-Britton of Carter Junior High, supervised by art teacher Adam Farquhar .
